01 · Field Notes
I’m a junior in finance and computer science at Ohio State, and this October I go up to Oxford, reading economics as a visiting student at Mansfield College. I grew up in Avon, just outside Cleveland. I build things at the intersection of AI, fintech, and systems; right now that mostly means Axiom, the LLM security company I co-founded and run.
I’ve been building since I was a kid. My first attempt at making money was dropshipping at fourteen. It didn’t go anywhere, but it pushed me into trying everything I could get my hands on: trading, copywriting, small online projects. At sixteen I co-founded Adhra, a marketing agency I built with a friend, and sold my share at eighteen.
I got into tech through Roblox. In 2023, I tested for Anime Adventures, which pulled me into how software actually works behind the scenes. From there I learned to build, and since then I’ve shipped products across LLM security, automation tools, and consumer apps. I like problems where the product question and the engineering question turn out to be the same question.
Outside of work I train MMA, play tennis and soccer, and dive into books and chess whenever I can. I’m also a huge Real Madrid fan.

A voice-free ordering app for noisy bars, built solo during an internship and live on the App Store: 300+ downloads, and perceived order time cut in half in user tests.
Personal Project
A chess bot modelled on Bobby Fischer, trained on his sixty memorable games. Grew up studying his play and built this because Chess.com didn’t have one.

Three teams. Built the evaluation framework for AI-written credit-risk narratives against analyst benchmarks; cut LLM token spend 43% with verified semantic compression after finding negation loss in 59% of naive compressions; assessed TLS 1.3 and post-quantum readiness across the bank’s core applications.

Luxor Technology × Ohio Blockchain Council
Led a five-person team on a 40-tab quarterly economics model for a 100 MW ERCOT data-centre buildout: a 2.06× five-year MOIC base case and $81.5M NPV at 15%. Regressed ERCOT, SPP and PJM power prices against live feeds for forward pricing; priced a six-strategy hedge selector across collars, swaps and gas futures.

Axiom
Runtime security for LLM applications: a three-tier pipeline — deterministic filters, an ONNX classifier, an LLM adjudicator — that catches prompt injection and agent misbehaviour before it reaches the model. Enterprise pilot with Upstart, calibrated against benign traffic; Founders Inc Canopy (1 of 500 from 6,500+); NVIDIA Inception.

The Ohio State University
Leading the eye-tracking workstream of a multimodal study on developer efficiency; prototyping an IDE that classifies compilation errors with NLP and hands the developer feedback in real time.

Carver Financial Services
LangChain RAG over Carver and Raymond James content: 500+ queries in month one, about 30% less advisor workload. Salesforce automation that halved client-onboarding time. A Python portfolio optimizer that lifted simulated Sharpe 11% against the Morningstar Moderate Target Risk index.

A software-and-hardware product for hospitality operations. Led pilot testing and early customer discovery across hotel networks; strategy, SEO and sales outreach.

Adhra
A paid-media agency for e-commerce brands, started at sixteen: $600K+ in lifetime client spend across 14 retained accounts at 4–6× ROAS on Meta and TikTok, with creative-testing systems that cut acquisition cost 25%. Sold the client book at eighteen to an independent operator.
